We have endeavored to create a garden which is at peace with the existing natural landscape. There are no hard rectilinear definitions to the planting areas, no garden rooms, clipped hedges, or otherwise formal areas. We prefer our plantings and associations of plant groups to look as though they might have “just happened.” In addition to it being a look we prefer, we feel it reduces the need for much routine maintenance.
