Azaleas

Our many deciduous azaleas are a very important component of the landscape providing blooms from May to August and often spectacular fall color. Two of the most important species are the many specimens of Azalea schlippenbachii and the native Azalea vaseyi. Ed Mezzitt of Weston Nurseries also provided many azalea cultivars that were not introduced to the trade or only sparingly so.
