Because of our short growing season, we place great emphasis on providing a several months long display of annuals and tender perennials in containers of various sizes on the terrace. They are chosen for a variety of purposes and reasons and vary from year to year. We are always experimenting, but always include what have been satisfactory performers in seasons past or plans to to which we have a sentimental attachment. We frequently include those with white or pale yellow that provide visual impact in the early evening hours.
